This design is a concept for a new multimedia portal for Science Magazine.
I was responsible for creating the concept and completing all of the design work.

The National Archives planned a complete rebuild of its entire web presence. This project was to complete an interim re-design of just the homepage to address some structural, navigation and accessibility issues from the old page.
I was responsible for managing the project, designing prototypes and presenting work to the senior management board and advisory groups, and then also building and implementing the page.

The Learning Curve - The National Archives

This project was developed in collaboration with a group of visually impaired and blind students from across the UK and in consulation with a number of other national organisations. It brings to life the story of William Towers, a 12 year old Victorian boy who lived in Richmond, Surrey. In 1872 he was arrested for stealing rabbits and sentenced to one months hard labour in Wandsworth prison.
I worked hard to ensure that this web site was accessible to everyone. The web site received a JODI Award for excellence in accessible web design at a ceremony held at the British Library, London.
Delta Summit Group
Concept, Design, Development.
This project had a very tight schedule as this start-up software development company needed a web presence fast to help secure some potential business.
I worked closely with the client to establish the design goals and overall look and feel, then produced the design and did all of the production work. The client was extremely happy with the results, they won the contract and have received numerous compliments on their site.
Pickle Packers International, Inc
Design.
I completed a complete refresh of the this site from the ground up, giving them a fresh, modern new look.
The site was built in Drupal with some customized development for specific feature areas.
Convergence
Mathematical Association of America
Concept, Design and HTML Production
Convergence is aimed at teachers and lecturers. The goal of the site is to encourage using the history of mathematics to teach the subject at high school through college level.
I designed the entire site including a custom cms which is used to maintain all of the content and members. I wrote all of the HTML and integrated it with the Java back-end.
McGruff The Crime Dog
McGruff.org: Millstein Child Safety Center
Concept, Design, Production and Flash Development.
The brief for this fun project was to create a modern, exciting new face for the existing web site. The client manages all content via a custom CMS sytem which I also helped design.
More than 200,000 children and adults visited McGruff.org in the three months after its launch. The website received an honorary Webby award.
Math Gateway
Mathematics Association of America
Concept, Design, Production.

Math Gateway is an advanced portal and online community that brings together vast collections of Math related resources from its partner organizations.
The search system uses the Dublin Core Metadata and Open Archives Initiative technology to index data from multiple locations. Member benefits include virtual workgroups, annotation tools, document storage and customized bookmarking tools.
U.S.Wheat Associates
Concept, Design and Production.
This was interesting design project to rebrand and completely redesign the old, outdated U.S. Wheat web site.
The final product was integrated with a Lotus Notes back-end delivering dynamic data drawn from the organization's key offices worldwide.
RedRock Reports

This was a short project to redesign and rebrand an existing web application.
I worked closely with the client to conceptualize their ideas and come up with a strong design that was professional, elegant and easy to maintain.
Cougaar Software
Concept, Design and HTML Production
Cougaar software is one of the industry leaders in intelligent RFID software development and systems research. I developed this site to help them promote a professional image and identity for the company.
The site was built using custom Dreamweaver templates and is maintained almost entirely by the client.
Sonitrol
Concept, Design Production and Flash development.
Sontirol holds a unique place in the security system industry. They have a respected reputation for outstanding quality of service and provide one of the most effective security systems currently available.
I designed and built this web site for new customers, franchise owners and other industry professionals to learn more about this company.
I also designed and helped build a highly customized cms back-end providing the client with full control over the appearance and operation of the site.
